Here We Come a Caroling

Coyle's old Ford

December 2019 marked the inaugural Christmas Hayride. This was an idea that had been tossed around by friends Jason and Sherry Coyle, Galen and Patty Reese, and Michele Kommers after helping with the Lovelock Ghost Tour. The Coyles 1952 ford and trailer were transformed into a themed, lighted extravaganza to offer an old-fashioned hayride that was sure to excite both young and old alike.

Can't sing? No worries! This fun-filled ride celebrates the season by playing Christmas tunes while touring around the town of Lovelock admiring the hard work of local residents who have beautifully decorated their homes for the holidays. You may also hear the lively exchange of Christmas greetings between hayride participants and community members as they step out of their homes to waves as the hayride traverses the town.

Each year, the hayride organizers look at the needs of the community and decide on a beneficiary. All the proceeds of this annual hayride are given to the chosen beneficiary to use at their discretion.

This is a fun event for the entire community whether you are on the hayride or watching from your front door!
